The Great Pyramid of Giza – also known as the Pyramid of Khufu – is a huge structure with four triangular sides which converge into a point at the top in the center, almost like a geometric mountain. It is specifically 138.5 meters tall (or 454 feet).
The pyramid is made with a couple million large blocks of granite and limestone. They are not fully uniform in size, although each one is fairly big. Each looks like it is close to the height of a person, and they are quite a bit wider than they are tall. The color of the blocks resembles that of the sand underneath it, except it's a bit darker. It's like a somewhat dull yellowy brown hue, with a bit of variation between the darker parts and the lighter bits of the rock.
It looks fairly worn down by time. From afar you can see the uneven jagged edges of its silhouette, suggesting that there are missing blocks or parts which have been damaged over time. The top in particular looks rounded off rather than sharp. From up close you can see the way each block has a rough texture, and some of them have a more pale color near the top that looks like it trickles down the surface.
The entrance in particular is easy to miss from a distance, as it is not particularly large nor does it stick out. There is a section somewhat close to the base, where there's an indentation leading into a wall with a gate. The entrance has a triangular shape in the same orientation as the rest of the pyramid. The angular positioning of the rock around the entrance stands in contrast with all of the horizontally laid blocks that make up the rest of the structure.
From certain angles when looking at the pyramid you see nothing aside from it, the sky behind it, and the flat sand all around it. From other angles you might see nearby structures like other pyramids and a sphinx. If you're standing far enough away to see the whole structure all the people around it look really tiny in comparison and might even be hard to spot.
